Headquartered in Washington, D.C., NCSA is an affiliated chapter of the National Speakers Association. Our members reside in the District of Columbia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia. However, new members from any location are welcome.

NCSA Chapter Information

The 1995-1996 Vision for National Capital Speakers Association (NCSA) is "Moving Mountains -- Making a Difference."

To "move mountains," NCSA provides resources to help speakers grow -- to take their career and profession to the next level. NCSA helps full- and part-time professional speakers augment both their platform skills and their businesses. For aspiring speakers, NCSA offers programs for getting started in the speaking profession, launching a business, and prospecting and negotiating speaking engagements. The second part of NCSA's Vision is "Making a Difference." NCSA seeks to not only contribute to our members careers, but to elevate the level of professionalism in the speaking profession as well as give back to the community of which we are a part. This year, we are doing this in two very special ways:

NCSA appoints a Director of Social/Community Outreach to ensure that these services receive the attention they deserve.

Newsletter -- "Speaking of Speaking"

Contributions to "Speaking of Speaking," NCSA's chapter newsletter, are welcomed. All articles should relate specifically to professional speakers. E-mail submissions are preferred. Electronic form articles (i.e., disk files sent via regular mail or file attachments sent via e-mail) can be in the following data formats:
